How can a budgeted AI agent pay publishers per citation using x402 on Arc?
The paying agent treated "How can a budgeted AI agent pay publishers per citation using x402 on Arc?" as a source-backed answer, not a free scrape. Canteen Research: Lepton asks builders to make sub-cent value move for agents and creators: per article, per call, per second, and per citation. LeptonWeb Lab: A builder log for Tollgate, showing paid citations, receipt hashes, x402 source access, and creator onboarding on Arc. Circle Developer Notes: Circle Gateway batches signed EIP-3009 authorizations so x402 payments can clear at sub-cent values without per-payment gas. It bought the minimum useful bundle of sources, paid each cited creator in USDC atomic units, and wrote a receipt chain that ties the answer to the citations that earned.
